Every day at Just For Tummies, we hear from people looking for answers about their gut health. Some questions are incredibly common, while others are ones we’ve never been asked before.
And that’s exactly what makes our job so rewarding.
In this video, Linda shares just a handful of the questions she’s received recently.
They include:
- A mum worried about her teenage son’s stomach pain and diarrhoea.
- Someone struggling with acid reflux and bloating after menopause.
- A daughter looking for help with her mum’s constipation.
- A customer wanting to know how to best support a loved one’s gut while they’re taking multiple medications.
- Holidaymakers asking how to avoid an upset tummy while travelling.
- And even a question about supporting urinary health in a man with a UTI (urinary tract infection).
While every person’s story is different, interestingly, we find many of the same concerns come up time and time again.
Questions like:
- “Is IBS dangerous?”
- “Can IBS lead to bowel cancer?”
- “Why has my constipation suddenly become so much worse?”
- “What actually triggered my gut problems in the first place?”
When you contact us, we don’t just recommend a couple of supplements and hope for the best. Linda will always ask lots of questions. We want to understand when your symptoms started, what may have triggered them, and what’s changed along the way. Whether it was antibiotics, food poisoning, stress, surgery or medication, these details often provide the biggest clues to getting to the root cause and finding the right support.
If you have a question of your own, we’d love to hear it. There’s no such thing as a silly question, and if you’re wondering about something, the chances are someone else is too. So please get in touch.
