The great testimonials just keep on coming. 👋👌 The Tummy Team

I love receiving testimonials like this one recent I love receiving testimonials like this one recently received from Deborah. Such stories are what made me develop my own range of digestive and gut health supplements in the first place and now, eight years later, I'm still on a mission to help as many people as I can resolve their digestive and gut health issues. “I have been experiencing digestive problems on and off for years, but my symptoms escalated 12 months ago following the death of my mother. I developed almost constant diarrhoea, everything I ate went straight through me and I started losing weight.
I developed food intolerances and my diet became more and more restricted. I spent thousands of pounds working with so-called digestive experts, not to mention the huge amounts of money on supplements that did nothing to help my symptoms.
I struggled with nausea, diarrhoea, stomach gurgling, upper abdominal pain, and acid reflux. I lost over a stone in weight, which I couldn’t afford to lose, and this also caused me great concern.
I came across Just for Tummies via the Facebook group and read about Linda and her supplements, and I knew I had to try them. I contacted Linda and explained my situation. Linda suggested the 5-day Charcoal cleanse to help with the diarrhoea, which it did.
She then suggested I try her Live Bacteria capsules and Digestive Enzymes tablets, which I purchased – and I can say they worked within days. I have been taking the supplements for a couple of months now, and I can’t believe the difference they have made to me.
I am astonished at the improvement in my digestive health after suffering for so long. I will be forever grateful to Linda for her help and would recommend everyone struggling with these types of symptoms to try the Just For Tummies supplements. They are amazing, and so is Linda!” If you want the supplement protocol that I put Deborah on and which she had a fantastic response to, you can message us or email us: feelgood@justfortummies.co.uk Linda & The Tummy Team #gutbrainconnection #supplementsthatwork #madeinuk
What makes Just For Tummies different to other sup What makes Just For Tummies different to other supplements? Well, for starters, our founder Linda, used all her years experience and knowledge as a natural health practitioner specialising in digestive and gut issues, to develop a targeted range of supplements aimed at helping reduce symptoms of IBS, uncomfortable bloating, trapped painful gas, constipation, not to mention digestive and gut issues caused by the menopause. Day in and day out in her natural health clinic, for many years, Linda was observing and helping people who had IBS and all manner of other digestive and gut issues and so had the expertise to know which ingredients to put in her supplemlents to get the best results for her clinic clients. She then decided to launch the range nationwide. Just For Tummies is the only range of digestive and gut health supplements in the UK to have been developed by a UK based natural health therapist. Check out our 5* reviews and read some of the amazing, life-changing stories our supplements have helped achieve. We also offer free advice, lots of free resources, including our healthy recipes, in-depth fact sheets, guides and brochures that you can download from the link in the bio. The Tummy Team

This is so true! Over the past 30 years, thousan This is so true! Over the past 30 years, thousands and thousands of people have contacted me for help in resolving their digestive and gut issues. When I've taken a little of their case history and explained to them why they developed irritable bowel syndrome, painful bloating and/or constipation, the penny drops and it is much easier to put together a supplement treatment protocol to reduce symptoms. Case in point. Antibiotics. People just do not realise the harm that antibiotics do to the friendly gut bacteria, wiping out billions of it, and hugely increasing the risk of developing IBS and other digestive and gut disorders. If you've had antibiotics, always, always remember to repopulate and replenish the levels of friendly bacteria in your gut and bladder (to reduce risk of UTIs) with a three month course of live bacteria probiotics. Ageing is linked to a variety of changes in the bo Ageing is linked to a variety of changes in the body, including muscle loss, thinner skin, thinning hair, memory loss, fatigue, depression and less stomach acid. Some of these changes can make you prone to nutrient deficiencies, while others can affect your senses and quality of life. However, many of these changes can be reduced by adopting anti-ageing diet and lifestyle habits and taking targeted supplements like our natural Digestive Enzymes tablets to help ensure as many nutrients as possible are being absorbed and assimilated. In this way, it is possible to support general gut health throughout our later decades and help reduce the likelihood of inflammation and infections, two of the ageing culprits. Your body does not absorb nutrients as well as it once did: Another big reason nutrition gets more important as you grow older is that your ageing body does not absorb nutrients as well as it once did. This means you would need to eat a larger quantity of your regular diet to gain the same nutrition. But eating huge amounts of food puts undue stress on the digestive system, and leads to unwanted weight gain of course, so it is important to focus on nutrient-rich foods as you age. Gut health during older years: One of the reasons we have a bowel screening programme in the UK, free to everyone over age of 60, providing they are registered with a GP, is that the risk of getting bowel cancer increases as we age. We know that a low diversity of gut bacteria is implicated in bowel cancer. It is crucial, therefore, to do what we can to reduce our risk by taking daily probiotic capsules like our Live Bacteria. Read our latest blog in the bio about the ageing effects on the digestive system and why it's important to address these if you want to live into your 60's, 70's and 80's and beyond, with good health. If you want to check out our Live Bacteria capsules and Digestive Enzymes tablets, you will find the shop link in the bio. Linda

The over-prescribing and over-consumption of antib The over-prescribing and over-consumption of antibiotics is a subject that has long troubled me. When I first went into clinical practice almost 30 years ago, I noticed even then a complete lack of responsibility from some GPs and their patients when it came to how antibiotics were being prescribed. Patients were coming to expect that when they walked into the surgery with a cough or cold, they could walk away with a prescription – for antibiotic medication that won't even work on a virus, which applies to most cases of coughs and colds. It is the job of your immune system to fight these, not a prescription from your GP. Three decades or so into my career, I now see how we are reaping what has been sown – the growing threat of antibiotic resistance. I found it staggering back then, as I do even more so now, that the 'powers that be' in the medical profession are still not warning people about the risks of taking too many antibiotics, although there are glimmers of hope. I went into my local GP surgery recently and spotted leaflets about the dangers of taking too many antibiotics, and I know that there are responsible GPs and gastroenterologists who do advise their patients to take a course of live bacteria probiotics following a course of antibiotics. But, is it too little too late? The threat of antibiotic resistance was one of the primary reasons for developing my own range of digestive and gut health supplements. Did I want to take on all the stress, use my own pension money to set up the business, work 16-hour days, 7 days a week, for months and years, affecting my marriage and my health? I certainly did not, at least not at the age of 55, but I did; I couldn't sit back, I had to do it. If you have knowledge about a certain thing and you know that by sharing that knowledge, you can help millions of people, you have to share it, don't you?
How do things look now when it comes to prescribing antibiotics? A study published in the British Medical Journal in 2019 puts some hard numbers on just how often antibiotics are over-prescribed. Nearly 25% of the time, antibiotics are inappropriate. Linda

Our latest healthy recipe 👏😋 - our delicious Our latest healthy recipe 👏😋 - our delicious Salmon, Avocado & Rice Bowl, a super easy, healthy, and colourful meal! Nutritionally balanced and full of flavour, it’s perfect for a weeknight dinner or a even a packed lunch, as it only takes 15 minutes to make this delicious dish from scratch. Here's the health benefits of just a few of the ingredients: SALMON – rich in anti-inflammatory omega 3 fatty acids, which are excellent in soothing inflammation, especially in conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Essential fatty acids also play a key role in repairing cells and tissues which may have become damaged, including the skin and the gut tissues. AVOCADOS – a rich source of vitamin E which is a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, helping to protect the skin from free radical damage. Also rich in fibre, which helps normalise transit time in the bowel, thus helping to prevent constipation. CORIANDER – great for chelating and mobilising toxins out of the body, which will help to clear up skin breakouts.
You gut health is linked to the health of your skin – when toxins build up internally, this can cause skin eruptions, especially if IBS, constipation and ‘leaky’ gut are in evidence. It’s important, therefore, to keep your fibre levels up, aiming for 30g per day, and to drink plenty of water to ensure you have a daily bowel movement. For more of our healthy, gut-healing dishes, download our gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free recipes in the bio. You will find healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners for meat eaters, fish eaters, vegetarians and vegans. We hope you enjoy this delicious rice bowl, and any of the other tummy-friendly recipes that you decide to try out.

Signs and symptoms of bowel cancer. #bowelcanceraw Signs and symptoms of bowel cancer. #bowelcancerawarenessmonth
Did you know that constipation, if left untreated, Did you know that constipation, if left untreated, can lead to a range of health risks, such as: • increased risk of ‘leaky’ gut (toxins leaking from bowel into the bloodstream affecting so many organs and systems of the body)
• increased risk of bowel infections
• increased risk of bowel perforations
• increased risk of diverticulitis
• increased risk of bowel cancer
• not forgetting headaches, bad breath, bad skin, weight gain, fatigue, mood, bowel prolapses, and acid reflux from pressure exerted on diaphragm/stomach? It’s a sobering list, isn’t it? Chronic constipation is akin to carrying a bag of raw sewage around with you, and in very severe cases, people can get faecal vomiting, where they literally vomit poo due to a blockage in the bowel.
You can see why it is important not to ignore constipation. The good news is that many cases of constipation can be successfully treated by eating a diet high in fibre, eating good fats, drinking more fluids, and exercising daily. When it comes to constipation, food really is medicine. What you eat can be highly effective in preventing or reversing chronic constipation. If you aren’t consuming enough fibre, this could be why you are constipated.
Let’s take a closer look at fibre: As fibre is indigestible, it adds bulk to the faeces, making it more easily pushed along the digestive tract. There are two broad types of fibre; soluble and insoluble. • Soluble fibre helps to soften the faeces. Good sources of soluble fibre include legumes, fruits and vegetables.
• Insoluble fibre adds bulk to the faeces, helping it to move more quickly through the bowel. Good sources of insoluble fibre are found in wheat bran, wholegrain breads and cereals. If you don't think you're eating sufficient fibre, then consider taking two of our Fibre tablets half hour before lunch and two half hour before dinner, with a large glass of water, but wait until this Saturday to purchase because we will have them on sale. I wanted to share Sam’s story because it is a pe I wanted to share Sam’s story because it is a perfect example of the type of enquiry I get – day in, day out. From people who have had symptoms for many years, made countless visits to their GP, undergone a barrage of tests, but still have no definite diagnosis or idea as to what could be causing their symptoms. This can be frustrating and worrying for the person struggling with what can be life-limiting symptoms. Sam tried many different supplements, but it was only when he began taking our Just For Tummies ones that he began to feel a reduction in his symptoms. Since 1997, April has been recognised as IBS Aware Since 1997, April has been recognised as IBS Awareness Month. During this time, both conventional and complementary health practitioners, as well as the many IBS support groups and organisations work to focus attention on important health messages about IBS diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life issues. A further aim of this awareness month is to reduce the stigma associated with IBS by encouraging people to talk more about this condition. While IBS is by no means a life-threatening illness, it can certainly be life-limiting in the negative impact it has on a person’s quality of life. If you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), you are not alone – IBS is common with prevalence estimated at 10% –15%. Yet many people remain undiagnosed and unaware that their symptoms indicate a medically recognised disorder.
Throughout April, Just For Tummies will be dedicating our live videos, newsletters and social media posts to IBS to help those of you with IBS understand what caused it and how you can resolve symptoms naturally without having to resort to drugs. Read our latest IBS blog in bio link. Linda and The Tummy Team
